Ballard Writers is an informal but ever growing group of authors living in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard. We write poetry and children’s books, science fiction, memoirs, historical novels, young adult novels, zines and cookbooks. We are national award winners and “as yet undiscovered.” In addition to our zip code and love for words, what we all have in common is our favorite local independent bookstore, Secret Garden Books. It’s where you can always find our work; signed copies always available. Welcome to Ballard Writers Collective.
